Snuffle Pocket Explorer – 12 pocket enrichment mat for dogs
12 pockets, endless opportunities for sniffing, searching and exploring!
Let your dog's nose do the exploring with our new Snuffle Pocket Explorer, a wonderfully versatile enrichment mat designed to encourage your dog's natural instincts to sniff, forage and investigate.
Measuring an impressive 150cm x 30cm, the Snuffle Pocket Explorer features 12 pockets in two different sizes, giving you plenty of opportunities to hide treats, toys and other enrichment activities for your dog to discover.
Designed to lay flat on the floor, your dog can move along the pockets, exploring different smells, textures and hidden surprises at their own pace.
And the best part? You can create a completely different enrichment experience every time you use it!
The Snuffle Pocket Explorer is much more than somewhere to hide treats. With 12 pockets to fill, you can get creative using everyday objects and enrichment toys you may already have at home.
Here are some of our favourite ideas:
-
Favourite treats – hide a few tasty rewards inside the pockets and encourage your dog to sniff them out.
-
Empty egg boxes – pop treats inside an egg box and tuck it into one of the larger pockets.
-
Scrunched-up newspaper – create interesting textures and little hiding places for treats.
-
Clam enrichment toys – hide a treat inside a clam-shaped toy for an extra challenge.
-
Our Roll-Up Snuffle Mat – fill it with treats, roll it up and tuck it inside a pocket.
-
Our Snuffle Pockets – combine them with your Explorer for even more sniffing and searching opportunities.
Start with something simple and gradually introduce new challenges as your dog becomes more confident.
There's no rush and no right or wrong way to explore. Let your dog choose what interests them.
